Delta 48 Coupé is one of the most technologically advanced motor yachts in its class.
Built entirely in carbon fibre, it combines the performance of a high-speed powerboat with the comfort of a full-size family yacht.
With an overall length of 15.03 metres, Delta 48 Coupé offers a level of space and functionality normally found aboard considerably larger yachts. The accommodation includes three separate cabins, six to eight berths, two comfortable bathrooms with full-size showers, and a fully equipped galley.
The spacious, glass-surrounded saloon and impressive panoramic roof blur the distinction between the interior and exterior deck areas, creating a seamless connection with the water.
Generous storage capacity and carefully designed stowage spaces make it easy to organise equipment and provisions during extended cruises, without compromising onboard comfort. Despite its comprehensive accommodation layout, Delta 48 Coupé remains one of the lightest yachts in its class.
Full carbon
The secret behind its performance lies in its construction. The hull, deck and primary structure are built entirely from carbon fibre using Diab Core Infusion technology and a Divinycell core. As a result, Delta 48 Coupé weighs only approximately 8,000 kg, while most competing yachts of a similar size weigh between 15 and more than 20 tonnes.
“Despite its impressive 13-foot beam, the Delta 48 Coupé weighs just eight tonnes, roughly half the weight of a Princess V50.”— Phil Draper, Motor Boat & Yachting
Lower weight delivers far more than increased speed. It also means faster acceleration onto the plane, stronger performance, greater cruising range, lower fuel consumption and reduced CO₂ emissions for every nautical mile travelled.
Go faster, go further
Delta 48 Coupé is available with Volvo Penta D6 440, D6 480 DPI or Mercury Verado V12 power. Depending on the selected configuration, it delivers cruising speeds of between 32 and 40 knots and a top speed exceeding 52 knots.
At a cruising speed of approximately 30–32 knots, the Volvo Penta version offers a range of up to 500 nautical miles, placing it among the best-performing yachts in the segment. For the owner, this means greater freedom when planning passages, fewer fuel stops and the ability to cover longer distances without compromise.
“I have always been a fan of Delta’s approach to boatbuilding. Speed and fuel efficiency are two sides of the same coin; optimise one and the other will follow.”— Hugo Andreae, Editor, Motor Boat & Yachting
Despite its sporting character, Delta 48 Coupé remains a fully capable cruising yacht. Three cabins, two bathrooms, a full-size galley and a spacious saloon allow six to eight guests to travel and stay aboard in comfort.
– "It is precisely this quality of craftsmanship, combined with performance, efficiency and functionality, that makes Delta 48 Coupé one of the most complete premium performance cruisers available today."
For more than two decades, Delta Powerboats has been associated with innovative design, efficient hydrodynamics and advanced technology. The 48 Coupé brings these qualities together in an elegant, versatile and energy-efficient sports cruiser. Its hull, deck and superstructure are vacuum-infused using carbon fibre throughout.
